Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Life Altering Corp uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on lifealteringtaylor.com.

The Short Version

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies. It does not track individual users across sites. No personal data is collected for web analytics purposes.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or behavioral profiling technologies.

What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies can be used to remember preferences, keep you logged in, or track your behavior across websites.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for the website to function. They are set by our infrastructure and are not used for tracking.

CookiePurposeDuration
supabase-auth-tokenMaintains your authenticated session (Hub area only, not public site)Session
next-auth.session-tokenCSRF protection for form submissionsSession

These cookies contain no personal identifiers beyond your session token. They are deleted when you close your browser.

Analytics — Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not track individual users across sessions or sites
  • Collects no personal data (IP addresses are not stored; they are used only to derive approximate country, then discarded)
  • Is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without a consent banner

The Plausible script collects: page URL, referrer source, browser type, device type, and country. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individuals.

What We Don't Use

We do not use:

  • Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
  • Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag
  • Advertising or retargeting networks
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Fingerprinting or supercookies

Your Choices

Because our only analytics tool (Plausible) does not use cookies and collects no personal data, a cookie consent banner is not required for EU/UK visitors under GDPR/PECR. If you wish to block even privacy-respecting analytics, you can use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin, which blocks Plausible by default.

For essential session cookies, disabling them will prevent login functionality (Hub area). The public marketing site does not require cookies to function.

Mobile App

The Taylor iOS app does not use cookies. Analytics in the mobile app are governed by the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We will update this policy if we change the tools we use. Material changes will be announced via the Privacy Policy update process.
